By car from the south

We are conveniently situated in the picturesque village of Widdington, just south of Newport Village and near Saffron Walden, an ancient market town steeped in history. The park is clearly sign posted from the B1383 and junction 8 of the M11. Please make sure that you don't overshoot junction 8. Junction 8a is a few hundred yards on from junction 8 and takes you on a wild goose chase. The journey takes about 40 minutes from the Redbridge roundabout in north London.

By car from the north

We are signposted from Stump's Cross roundabout, which is just north of Great Chesterford. Take the B1383 through Littlebury, Audley End and Newport. Turn left about half a mile past Newport. Remember that you cannot leave the M11 at Stump's Cross. If you are travelling down the M11 from the north, you must leave at Duxford and head east on the A505. This will take you to Stump's Cross.

By car from the east

The new A120 ensures that Mole Hall Wildlife Park is only a short drive from Braintree. Take the A120 west and keep heading for Bishop's Stortford. Once you have crossed the M11 motorway the road becomes much smaller. We are signposted from the roundabout that is above the M11.

By car from the west

Take the A120 and head east until you reach the first roundabout that leads to Bishop's Stortford. Take the first exit and carry onto the next rounabout in about a mile. Take the first exit onto the B1383 and this will take you to Mole Hall, which is signposted from here. If you reach Newport, you have gone about half a mile to far.

By train

There are numerous trains on this London Liverpool Street to Cambridge line stopping at Newport (Essex), which is about 3 miles from Mole Hall.
